Locations For My Music Video

I have decided to shoot my film in one particular place, it corresponds to the music and although it is just one place I have a variety of shots and a variety of alternate locations in it.
My music video is going to be shot in a warehouse, so that it looks like a toy factory/warehouse. I have asked the owner of the warehouse if I could use it and they have agreed, but I have to take precautions while I'm there filming because it is industrial and there is some dangerous equipment around it.

This first photo is a shot of where the band are going to be performing, but I will use the shelves in the background for other shots as well.
I have set up what I want the basic layout for the performance to be, at this point I hadn't put all the toys down because I had just started to set up.
As you can see by this picture, the ceiling is quite high, so I wouldn't be able to achieve the birds eye view shots. Also it would be too dangerous and risky to try and secure the camera above the performance. This is a shot with all the lights on so it is quite bright, but when I film, it will have the lights off and I will be using some colourful flashing lights.

Originally I was going to use these shelves as the background behind the performance, but then when I set up the camera on the tripod I realised I was going to be pushed for space and either the heads or feet of the band would be cut off. That is when I thought it would be better if I positioned the band diagonally across the room, also this left a good angle behind the drummer of the other shelves in the warehouse which could also be covered with toys and boxes. As you can see on this image, I have lights which are mounted on tripods. Luckily I knew someone who has already got these so I asked if I could use them in my video and thankfully they agreed.

I had the idea of filming each band member down an isle of the warehouse, this is the isle that I chose to use. I picked it because it is quite narrow which means the clip isn't too spaced out. When I come to recording, the band will each individually be standing at the end with toys around them.
Behind the right row of shelves I will place the coloured lights which are mounted on tripods and move some boxes to let the light through. I will not have any of the lights on from above, just the coloured lights. This will hopefully make them more powerful and brighter.
When I come to editing I will try and have all the band members in the video from this view down the isle, but I am not too sure yet as it may not be as effective as I am expecting it to be.

In the image on the left, there are lights which are in the warehouse, they are very high up as is the ceiling so it is very unlikely that I will be filming any birds eye view shots, (like I said before).

With all the lights on it is actually quite bright and even with none of the lights on it is fairly light, this is due to the windows in the ceiling which will be letting the natural sunlight in. This doesn't really matter because when I come to filming the music video I won't have all of the lights on because it will drain out the coloured light and make it less effective. As I have explained below I will be keeping one of the ceiling lights on to give the band a bit more light and it will also give a few more reflections which is what I want to achieve in the final music video.

The image on the right is the same as the one on the left but all of the lights are turned off bar one which is above where the band are due to perform, I thought this would give a bit of extra light which would make the shots a little bit more colourful and brighter. There are lots of boxes on the shelves as you can see and these will be used to look like boxes of toys. I will place game boxes and toys around and on them to hide the logos and writing on them to give away the fact that it isn't actually a toy factory.
